Pencil Holder/Hidden Compartment

IMG_0251.JPG

This item we have made is made for almost anyone. This pencil holder has a handy compartment for anything you would like to hide. The compartment opens if you twist and pull one specific pencil. The only requirement for this is you have to have the pencils to go into the holder, including one unsharpened one.

About the creators:

This instructable was created by three 8th grade engineering students; Nicholas, Stephan, and Cooper. Although this was made for a school project, each of us put in many hours of our own time. This is all of our's first instructable, so don't get your hopes too high!

to assemble the parts, all you need to do is glue the second part in the image onto the bottom of the first one. then, you can essentially stack the rest of the parts. The small pin is then glued to the tip of the unsharpened pencil, and you're done. To remove the compartment, simply twist and pull the pencil out. Please keep in mind there are still some fundamental design flaws in this, so it may not work well now.
