Pencil Holder

This tutorial will teach you how to make an origami pencil holder.. no origami paper needed!!

Some items you need to make this are

➜ Glue

➜ Scissors (if you can tear the paper by hand then no need for scissors.)

➜ 3 sheets of construction paper (pls chose different colors to make the pencil holder contrast)... if you have 4/4 origami paper then no need for construction paper... in this video, I used 3 sheets of construction paper.

➜ Fold your paper into a triangle and cut the rectangle at the bottom

➜ Repeat that 3 times

➜ Take one piece of your square

➜ If you have origami paper skip this step

➜ Fold the paper horizontally then vertically

➜ Fold a triangle and align it to the folded lines, repeat this twice, do it once on the left side and another time on the right side (if you are confused on this step please look at the photos they help explain a lot)

➜ Move the triangle shape up (it should look like an envelope now)

➜ Fold the envelope-shaped origami piece into two

➜ Make this three times

➜ Take the 2 pieces/ 3 that you folded (make sure it is different colors) and put glue on the yellow one/ whatever color you have. Look at the video for reference.

➜ Fold it in the middle so it forms a rectangle shape

➜ Congrats! Now you made the rectangle shape of your pencil holder.

➜ Now you have 2 options, you can make 4 of these and glue them together to make a big pencil holder or you can just make one pencil holder.

➜ I just made one of these and added something on the top so that the pencil holder is stable when you add pencils and doesn't tip over.

➜ Take the 3rd piece that you made before and spread it out into a v shape. Then glue it firmly to the pencil holder. Please look at the video attached for reference.

Your pencil holder is finished!
