Pen Gun

IMG_0782.JPG

Hello! Today I will be making a pen gun. This is a simple office warfare gun. It is capable of shooting a wooden skewer or pen interior. What makes this different from all the other pen guns is that this one is made to not spill the components like some others do. I hope you like this instructable.

Supplies

For this project you will need:

One click pen (I have found that pilot pens work the best). I used Pilot G-2 07.

Wooden skewer

Dremmel (optional, but I recommend it)

Disassembling the Pen

Unscrew the pen and take out the ink cartridge.

Then, take the wooden skewer and push and poke the spring in the very front of the pen until it falls out.

Take the skewer and push the end (the click part) until two pieces fall out.

Take the part you click and put it back into the pen's end.

Take the spring and slide it into the pen's end, too.

Then, take the second part that came out when you pushed the end cap out and put it on top of the spring, pointy end first.

Use the skewer to push the modified pen components down until you hear it click or when the components will no longer shoot up.

Screw the front back on.

Dremmel the Tip

If you have a dremmel handy, use the cutting wheel to cut the tip off. Just the tip. If you don't, you will have to whittle the skewer until it fits into the pen without any friction. You could also use a hacksaw.

Done!

Finished! To shoot your pen gun, cut a skewer and insert it into the front of the barrel. Then press to shoot.

If you need help, ask in the comments. This is my first Instructable, so please be patient with me.
