Pedal Guard Instruction Guide
The Fault
It is common to have your van broken into and stolen.
Unfortunately it is becoming common for commercial vehicles to be broken into and stolen. Criminals can break into your vehicle by physically damaging the doors and bypassing the OEM locks, or replicating the OBD key coding to access keyless entry vehicles. If your vehicle shows no deterrent or additional security systems, they will become easy targets for thieves.
The Solution
Fit the X8R pedal guard system to prevent a break-in on your van.
The X8R pedal guard is made from 8mm thick anodised stainless steel. The design comprises of a base which clamps around the bottom of the pedals, then secured with a top bracket and a shackleless lock. The lock cannot be penetrated by bolt cutters like a traditional padlock. When not in use, the pedal guard can easily be stored in a glovebox or storage compartment, unlike other more bulky pedal guards on the market.
You will also receive a set of reflective, high visibility stickers to act as a deterrent. The two triangular stickers can be affixed to the windows or side of the vehicle, and the long sticker is for the pedal guard. The stickers reflect at night, so any thieves prospecting for vehicles to break into will be made aware of the pedal guard fitted to your van.

Supplies
There are no tools needed to fit this kit
Fit Pedal Guard
Remove the top from the base of the pedal guard and hook under the pedals. Place the shackleless lock over the top and lock into place.
Fit Exterior Stickers
Fit the two exterior stickers. They can be fitted anywhere you like, but we highly recommend sticking them in the corner of your windows. All stickers provided in the kit (the 2 x exterior and 1 x pedal guard stickers) are highly reflective so will warn off potential thieves.
