There's nothing better than showing off your inner peace and these earrings do just that! Give these earrings to someone special or keep them for yourself, either way all who see them will be impressed at your handiwork.

Prepare to Cut

The file above is the same file I used to cut out my peace earrings. It was made using CorelDraw.

Cut

Place your 1/8 inch plywood into the laser cutter. With the power set at 72 and speed at 20, run the machine.

To make your earrings colored spray paint your wood before cutting out the earrings. Then skip the next step.

Sand

Sand each earring carefully to take off any burn marks. A few seconds should work just fine.

Attach the Hooks

Using the split ring pliers or your hands attach a split ring to an earring hook. Then attach the split ring to the hole in the peace signs. This will be a little difficult, especially if you aren't using the pliers, but it is possible.

Clean the Hooks

Before anybody wears your earrings clean the earring hooks with isopropyl alcohol (or rubbing alcohol). To do this dip a cotton swab or Q-tip into the antiseptic and rub onto the hooks. This should thoroughly clean your hooks and are now ready to be worn!
