Pazham Pori ( Sweet Banana Fry)

Pachham pori is a traditional Indian sweet dish with origins in Kerala, a state in India. This very simple dish does not have many ingredients and is a beautiful sweet dish to have as snacks

Supplies

  • Cooking pan
  • Fine wheat flour ( 300 gm )
  • rice flour ( 100 gm )
  • cooking soda ( 1 tablespoon)
  • banana ( as you need )
  • sugar ( 3 tablespoon)
  • water ( I cup )

Mixing Ingredients

Put 300 gm of fine wheat flour in a bowl and add 100 gm of rice flour. The reason for adding

The rice flour is to get crisp while frying, then add cooking soda, 1 tsp, and sugar, 3 tbs, with a pinch of cooking soda.

add water and stir it to semi-solid.


wait 5 hours to ferment

  • Take the sliced bananas, dip them in the mix.
  • Keep the fry pan at a moderate heat.

Dip the slices and fry them in the cooking oil.

fry it till you get a light brown.
