NFC Keychain!! Payment Through NFC Wooden Keychain - Credit/Debit Card Payment

Made NFC enabled Keychain, for Credit/Debit card payment. Its very small, handy, and it can be easily attached to any key. It can be used at any POS, be it petrol pump, mall, retail store, movie theatre or anywhere. As it just looks like a simple wooden keychain, there is very less risk of theft!

Inspired from this project.

1. NFC Enabled Credit/Debit card (I used VISA Debit card of BOB)
2. NFC Keychain Tags (Similar to https://www.amazon.in/Robodo-Keyfobs-Keychain-13-56MHz-Arduino/dp/B07DDG1LSM)
3. Aceton (I purchased from local shop)
4. Soldering kit (Purchased from local shop)
5. Small wooden block (Got it from local shop)
6. Saw
7. Adhesive
8. Sand Paper

Put NFC enabled Credit/Debit card into Aceton. It will dissolve the resin (approx in 1 hour), so that we can easily retrieve the NFC chip, without any damage to it.

Get small and thin wooden block, and make two small pieces of approx 3.3 x 3.3 cm.

Trim inside of one wooden block, so that NFC antenna can be housed along with NFC chip.

Get NFC keychain form market. Either from local store or amazon. We need to extract the antenna of NFC keychain, an place it on our wooden housing. Then solder it with our Credit/Debit card NFC chip.

I soldered two keychains antenna with NFC chip, to get strong magnetic field!

Check if can be detected by any NFC devices! I used Samsung Note phone and Apple iPhone to check if it is working or not.

If it is being detected by Phone, then seal it with adhesive.

I used Fevicol MR General Purpose, and waited for 24 hours for complete setting.

Finishing and polishing can be done to make it perfect square. Put a hole on one side, so that keychain ring can be inserted.

Then it could be laser engrave, or left it as it is or however you like.
