Parmesan Rosemary Crackers
These cheese crackers goes very well with cocktails and is a great appetizers. Another great way to use them would be during holidays as homemade gifts. The two key ingredients are Parmesan & Rosemary and the dough can be made weeks before and stored in the freezer. If you keep them in freezer, make sure you take them out roughly 1 hr before cutting.
Step 1:Ingredients
Ingredients:
Parmesan Cheese - 110g
Flour - 94g
Unsalted Butter - 57g
Coarse Salt - 1/2 Tea Spoon
Coarse Black Pepper Powder - 1 Tea Spoon
Rosemary - 2 Tea Spoon
Egg for Egg wash
Step 2: Mixing the Dough
Add Parmesan Cheese, Flour, Salt & Black Pepper in food processor and mix.
Add Butter & mix.
Add Water & mix.
Step 3: Kneading Dough
Knead dough to form a log shape.
Wrap with cling film and chill for 2 hours. Clickto see the Video to understand this step better.
Step 3: Cutting & Preparing Crackers
Cut crackers with a knife and lay them in a parchment lined baking tray.
Brush with egg wash. Decorate with Rosemary on top and sprinkle salt (optional)
Step 5: Bake & Serve
Bake in 375 degree F / 190 degree C pre-heated oven for 10 minutes.
