Paracord Hammock How To
This is a hammock i made from another instructable. The problem was that the hammock "swallowed" me when I got in it. So I made wooden pieces to hold it apart
Materials
You will need
• approximately 200' of 550 paracord
• wooden scraps (more on these later)
• a place to hang the paracord while tying the hammock

Getting Started
You first need to hang a 6' strand of paracord about 4' off the ground. Then tie 5' strands on the top strand about 5" apart. The side strands should be longer than 5'
Knotting
Take the 2nd and 3rd strands and tie an overhand knot. Then take the second strand which should on the other side of the third strand and tie it to the fourth strand. Continue this until you get to the width you want.
Side Strands
You now need to tied the side strands to the knotted strands that look like this < tie the side strands on to each of the knotted areas
Ends
Now you need your wood scraps about 1 1/2 inches thick, and 2 inches longer than your hammock is wide. Now drill holes for each strand. Put the strands through the holes , tie them all together and make a loop. Now put a carabiner in the loop. You can tie small strands of paracord around a tree and clip the carabiners to it.
Enjoy
