Paracord Fishing Bracelet

You are in the woods hungry and cold. You lost your fishing pole in the nearby river. Luckily you had you survival fishing bracelet. It contains enough fishing line to help you fish for food until your rescuers come.

Materials

You will need:
16 feet of paracord
200 feet of 50 lb braided fishing line
A knottology guardian expedition clasp
3 hooks about 3/4 of an inch long
A bunch of split rings
Other things you want to put in the clasp
Tape
Scissors
Lighters

Start

Remove the inner strands of the paracord.

Inserting the Fishing Line

Cut 20 9 foot strands of fishing line if you are using two colors. 10 17 foot strings if you are using one. Feed them into the paracord sheath. If you are using two colors burn one colors end and fray the other. Insert the burnt end into the other one and singe that end. You can also secure this more with a knot.

Starting the Weave

Pull the cords down through the clasp and the pull the ends through the loop. Then, pull the ends up through the other side of the buckle. Now you should bring the ends back through the original clasp side. Measure your wrist. Pass one end behind the base and over the other cord. Then pass the other cord through the loop.

Adding the Split Rings

Take the split rings and string them onto the cord. Then make a weave making sure the rings are in the middle.

Adding the Hooks

Put tape on the hook then wrap the tape all the way around the base. Go down a little and repeat.

Finishing

Wrap the last three weaves lightly and pull the ends through the top. Flip it over and pull the strands through the loose weaves tighten the weaves. Snip and singe the ends and fill the clasp. Making a Lure

Cut one long piece of fishing line and 5 3 in pieces. Also cut a 2 inch piece of paracord. Fray the cord a little. Wrap the long cord around the short pieces and the hook and then wrap it around the paracord and tie a knot to finish.
