Supplies
cardboard from cereal box
Long thin balsa wood
Popsicle sticks
Paper
Tinfoil
Elmers glue all glue
Wide, thin sheets of balsa wood
Super glue
White masking tape
Silver spray paint
Black spray paint
Step 1: Engine
for the engines depending on how strong you want it you need to have 8 to 10 cardboard rounds from the cereal box, 2 3/4 inches from one side to the other. using 2 balsa sticks 16 1/2 inches long, attach half of them 3 inches away from each other if you are using five. You should have around a 1 inch gap at one end. Make 2.
If you are making the engines with 4 rounds in them space them about 3 3/4 inches away from each other. Continue following instructions above and below.
Glue 2 layers of paper around each one. Then put a cone on top that is 4 3/4 inches long and about 3 1/4 inches wide.
Step 2: Body
the body of the ship is 17 inches wide and 9 inches long. You can choose your truss design for the inside on google, just look up flat truss, print it, or you can make up your own! https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/f8de3864-73...
this is a link I found on sketchup for a flat truss
Glue the engines onto the truss so that the back of it has 2 1/2 inches sticking out.
For the cockpit you need a balsa board 3 1/2 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 4 and 3/4 inches at. The top a 3 inch by 7 1/2 inches at the base and 4 1/4 inches at the top. Make sides that measure 3 1/2 by 4 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide put is together and make the window out of plastic line it with popsicle sticks
Add landing gear to the bottom
Then cover the truss body wit paper
Step Three Painting
Cover the windows with masking tape. Then spray paint the cockpit silver. Spray paint the cones and backs of the engine black.
use Elmers glue all glue to attach strips of tinfoil everywhere accept the spray painted parts is you want to add any guns make sure you do so before you tinfoil it.
