Paper Station for Kids

Hello! Do you or your kids need a spot to draw or blue print your diabolical world destroying gizmos? If so, this U-frame paper roll holder is perfect for you!
By the way this is my first instructable. So if I did anything wrong please tell me how I could improve.
Find Wood and Parts

For this project you will need:
- 4 foot piece of wood
-power or hand saw
-wood screws
-drill with Philips head and and 1.25 inch drill bit (reference picture above)
-paint/stain (this is optional, I used red paint)
-dowel rod
Project cost: $15.00 (for the paper, the wood and screws were already owned)
My roll of paper came from Mardel (the Christian/Education store) the link to it is here:
http://www.mardel.com/White-Banner-Paper-2718302.aspx
It is 3 feet wide, and 2 inches thick.
The wood I used came from my garage, and is
4 feet long, 2.5 inches wide, and .75 inches thick.
You may have to find different wood based on the dimensions of your roll.
Making the Frame

I cut my wood to 3 feet for the back of the U-frame, and 4 inches on each side for a little extra room. I then screwed them together. After that, I drilled a 1 inch hole in the sides for the dowel rod to hole the paper in place.
Painting

Next I painted the frame a nice red. I also painted the dowel rod white, but I forgot to take a picture.
Assembling the Project

To put the paper in, hold it up so that the hole lines up with the holes in the frame, and slide the dowel through.
And there you have it! A great place for your kids or you to draw!
