we will be making a paper plane crossbow.

hot glue

Popsicle sticks

rubber band

post-it notes

How To Make a Popsicle Stick Crossbow to fly Paper Airplanes

Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks 10 Popsicle Sticks

1 Rubber Band 1 Post it Note paper

Knife or Box Cutter Ruler

Scissors

Cut Rounded tip off 3 of the Popsicle Sticks

Cut 1/8 in. notch in the top of two popsicle sticks 1/2 in. from the rounded tip

Stack the 3 Popsicle sticks on top of each other with the middle stick 1/4 in down from

the top and bottom.

Glue sticks together

Take 1 Popsicle Stick and mark the center

Glue to the cut side of the stacked sticks

Take the Rubber Band and cut it to make a straight band.

Glue on end of the rubber band to the front of the single stick about 1/2 in from rounded

tip.

Run the Rubber Band around the rounded tip, across the back of the single stick, around

the other rounded tip, make sure the Rubber Band stays straight and snug

Glue other side of Rubber Band and remove any extra rubber band.

Make a Plane out of the Post It Note

Pull back the rubber band

Insert Plane

Release Rubber Band
