Paper Parchment - Antique Map
I love designed papers, they are so beautiful and varied,
But there is something about parchment paper's that gives a good feeling, as if they contain a sweet and ancient secret from thousands of years ago
Today we will make parchment paper with an antique look together from materials that everyone has at home
In the guide I explain how to turn the parchment paper into a treasure map, but you can take it in any direction you want
Greeting cards, bookmarks, drawings, a treasure hunt game or anything you want

Supplies
the necessary materials
- Cover for the work surface so that it does not get dirty (I used cling film)
- Paper
- A tablespoon of instant coffee mixed with half a cup of warm water
- Hair dryer (optional)
- 3 tablespoons of uncooked rice (for treasure map)
- Marker or thin black pen
Wrinkled and Antique Look
Organize the work environment
Crumple the paper a little (not too hard)
Open the wrinkles and straighten them
Giving an Antique Color Paper
Carefully pour the coffee over the paper
make sure the entire paper is wet
A Final Wrinkled and Antique Look
Wait about two minutes and carefully, in order not to get dirty, pick up the paper and crumple it again
Initial Drying
Open the creases and straighten the paper on the work surface (at this point I threw away the cling film that covered my work surface)
and dry the paper sheet with a hair dryer or outside for a few minutes
Antique Look and Final Drying
When the paper has dried a little but is still moist
Create small tears in the corners of the paper to create an ancient and old look
After that continue to dry the paper with the help of the hair dryer or for a few hours outside
If you only want parchment paper
Your card is ready, you can draw on it to make greetings or bookmarks or anything you want
Treasure Map
Pour the rice on the paper and with the help of the marker or pen go around the borders and lines it created
Intermediate Product
After that throw away the rice
Now you can see an ancient map (see picture)
Adding Places and Details on the Map
You can draw inside the map houses, seas, mountains, a road to the treasury, etc.
you can roll the paper a little to make a map roll
The Final Product
Your card/map is ready
You can add the map to the search for the treasure game and it's really fun
