It is Summer time in India, Kids are at home, need to keep them busy.

In this instructable, I will share 4 simple and fun projects for kids with paper and paint

No special tools needed

Angry Bird Popup Cards

Material

  • A4 size - Thick white paper
  • Scissors
  • Acrylic or water paint
  • Sketch pen

Steps

  • Fold A4 size paper twice, to form 4 equal rectangles, as shown
  • Make a 2 cm cut at 2/3 length ( longer edge fold)
  • Fold the sides as shown and pop out to form a beak
  • Draw your favorite angrybird
  • Using paints or sketch pens, bring the angry bird o life
  • Write your message


Minion Glasses

Material

  • Thick White paper
  • Acrylic paints
    • Yellow
    • Sliver
  • Scissors

Steps

  • Based on the template, hand draw on a thick paper
  • Cut at the outer edges
  • Paint it as shown in template
  • Remove the block eye space

Magic Drawing

Material

  • White paper
  • Black water paint
  • Liquid soap
  • Crayons
  • Tooth pick

Steps

  • USing different crayons randomly color the white sheet
  • Add little liquid soap to black water paint ( do not add water)
  • And spread over the crayon work done on the sheet
  • Let it dry
  • Using a toothpick draw flowers, people, sun etc

Loop Plane

Material

  • Thick magazine cover page
  • Scissors
  • 1 wooden skewer
  • Paper tape

Steps

  • Cut 1" X 14" and 1" x 7" strips out of thick paper
  • Make loop and stick the edges using paper tape or glue stick
  • Tape them on a skewer as shown
  • Done, Throw them to be amazed how they can glide
