Paper Kitty Puppet
☆ These puppets are fun to make and to play with! My toddler and I enjoyed creating this project! ☆
Supplies
• white paper bag = 9.5 x 5 inches ( for the body, or any small paper bag, any color).
• graphic compass ( to help draw the eyes).
• 1 ruler
• glue stick ( to glue the eyes and ears on the body).
• 1 sheet of white paper = 7 x 5 inches ( for the eyes and ears).
• 3 or more non- toxic markers, different colors (any colors you choose).
• a heavy box to set on the puppet ( after gluing to help the glued parts stick ( eyes and ears)).
Using the ruler to measure, open the graphic compass 1/2 inch wide in order to make 1 inch circles. Draw at least 2 circles with the graphic compass on the white sheet of paper. If you want an alien kitty with more eyes... go for it!
Cut them out with scissors.

Roughly draw triangles on the white sheet of paper or you can use the ruler to help drae the triangles. And cut them out with scissors
Draw pupils on the circles for the eyes. Color on the triangles for the ears.
Take the closed floded bag and markers, draw and color a mouth on the bag under the flap of the folded bottom.
On the body below the face and mouth area you can draw forearms.
Draw on a nose and wiskers on what would be the bottom of the bag ( this is the puppet's face area).
With the glue stick, place glue on the back of the eyes and glue them on to the bottom area of the bag, above where you had drawn the nose and whiskers. Then
with the glue stick, place take the ears and on the front of the ears at the bottom place glue. Then stick the ears at the top of the bag behid where the puppet head is located.
Place a heavy box or book on top of the puppet to help the glued parts adhere to the bag. Wait at least 10 minutes before removing the box and enjoy playing with your creation!
