Paper Infinity Kaleidoscope
Takes a lot of steps and uses a lot of paper.
Also very cool and satisfying.
Looks better if used colored paper.
Supplies
200 10cm x 10cm paper (i used sticky notes)
1 glue stick (optional)
Making the Pieces
Takes a lot of steps for this part
Fold the bottom down until it meets the top. When you finish it should look like the image above.
Fold the left side to the right side until it meets. Should look like the image.
Hard Part
Take the bottom right corner and flip it up to meet the top left corner. Flip it over and take the bottom left and flip it up to the top right. When finished with both make sure it looks like the image above.
Open it up to where it looks like the image above.
Flip it up to where you can see the top. If it looks like the image in the middle you did it right. If it looks like the image on the left then you did it wrong. If you did it wrong then you need to fold opposite then you did on step 4. If you did it right like the image in the middle then just open it up so it looks like the image on the right.
There should be a hole. On one side flip it over so that i looks like the image.
Turn it over and flip up the other side. When your done with both sides it should look like the image above.
Now with the left over parts . (there should be two parts) Flip one side up and the other side up.
Turn it over just like step six and open it. Wen you do it should look like the image on the left. Open it all the way so that it looks like the image on the right.
There should be some flaps. Fold those flaps until they meet. When your done it should look like the image above.
Putting the Pieces Together
First take out two of the first pieces from the first part. Open a flap of one of them and for the other fold it together. There should be two small slits, in one of the slits put the flap in it. When you're done it should look like the image on the right. Do all of the other ones the same.
It should be eight in one set. Four on top Four on bottom.
Open up two flaps and insert another piece onto the flaps. Keep doing this until it looks like the image above.
Last Step
Turn the object all into a circle then connect it like you did in step 14. When finished you it should look like the image at the top.
