Paper Duck Puppet

This instructable will show you how to make a flapping duck puppet to play with. It is very simple to make and only requires 3 things.

As i said you will need three things; a piece of paper, scissors, and a pencil.

Fold the paper in half "hot dog style" (thats lengthwise).

Next, fold the paper across itself, as shown.

Fold the sides of the fold down leaving a little bit of space to get "wings."

You will notice that there is a triangular overlap on one of the wings. Cut along it. On the other wing, cut out a congruent triangle in the same place.

Refold the bird in half, then draw eyes, nostrils and a beak on the triangular parts you cut out on both sides.

This the big finish! Just unfold the wings, and you have a duck! You may want to tape the head portion together... It looks weird if you don't.

Congratulations! You now have your very own paper duck puppet! As you get better at making them, you can create a whole flock to share with your friends! Enjoy!
