Paper Airplane Messenger
Whilst growing up the cool thing was building paper airplanes writing messages and throwing them around to friends. This will demonstrate my go-to paper airplane design that I always used as it was small but fast and fairly accurate.
Supplies
- 8 1/2 by 11-inch sheet of paper
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors
Initial Folding
Start off by folding the sheet of paper 4 times until you are left with a small rectangle similar to the original shape of the paper.
Cut Into Small Slips
Next, use the scissors to cut along the fold lines until you have sixteen smaller slips of paper. If you would like you can use the ruler and pencil to make clearer cutting lines.
Writing the Message
Select one of the small slips and use the pencil to write whatever message you would like to send.
Second Fold
Take the slip of paper that has your written message and fold it over.
Third Fold
Unfold the paper and then fold the corners until they line up with the fold line from the previous step while trying to keep them even with each other.
Fourth Fold
Fold the corners once more until they are lined up with the fold line and try to keep both wings looking identical to each other.
Fifth Fold
Fold the paper in half once more and press down until it mostly retains its shape.
Sixth Fold
Fold-down wings until they are even with base of paper airplane.
Enjoy
You have finished your paper airplane so enjoy sending messages and safe flying.
