Panzer VIII "Maus" Tank

20240317_141343.jpg

Hi guys, for now this will be the final K'nex model of my Maus tank. I tried to make it as accurate as possible and getting some k'nex motors inside so the model could move on its own power, but this model is too heavy to be propelled with these motors, which makes it almost historically accurate:). That is it for the introduction. If you have any questions because the images are not entirely understandable please ask! And dont forget to have fun while building and make sure to comment and/or upload a photo of your finished model. Love to see these!

First we start with the base of the hull and turret drive

The wheelbasis is kind of weak but after it is installed it holds up a lot better

Like I said in the beginning, if there is anything you cant get right because the images are not detailed enough let me know! I do admit this instructable was a bit rushed so I could have missed something. As for the drive system, since it cant propel the tank I found it to be dead weight and left the motors out for now.
