Fusion 360 like most other CAD programs uses the Middle Mouse Button to pan and orbit the view. Most laptop trackpads do not have a middle mouse button, so you have to use a mouse. But sometimes, it's quite convenient to be able to still make stuff without a mouse.
Fusion 360 luckily has a setting that allows you to use F2, F3, and F4 keys to pan, zoom, and orbit the view without the middle mouse button.
Go to Fusion 360 Preferences

Click on your profile in the top right and go to Preferences.

Under General, select "Inventor" Pan, Orbit, and Zoom shortcuts.
Now F2+Left mouse button will pan, F3+Left mouse button will zoom, and F4+Left mouse button will orbit.
