Painted Maps

First, you need to get something to paint on, like a small canvas. I used the back of a picture frame. you can even just use cardboard. Then, choose your colors and prepare it to paint.

Paint It...

Then, paint the canvas.

Let Dry...

Let the canvas completely dry.

Choose a Place...

Next choose a country, continent, or state. Pull it up on maps, or print it out so you can see it easily.

Outline...

Then outline the place you've chosen in pencil, then go over it with Sharpie. You can either leave it as it is, or color it in. I usually color mine in, but I liked this one as just an outline.

The Back...

When the front is finished, hot glue a safety pin or paper clip to the back, right in the middle, to hang it up.

Finished!

Now it's finished! A super easy way to make custom maps...and I've made lots of them :)
