The Paintbot is capable of painting any flat wall allowing you to use your time doing other things like moving your stuff in your new home. Setting it up just requires telescoping the arms so the wheels on top and bottom are firmly against the floor and ceiling, and putting paint into the reservoir on the bottom. The paint is pumped onto the roller which moves up and down on the vertical bars. The robot would have input from an IR sensor to tell it when it has reached the wall and that it can stop. Stepper motors would be used so it knows how far it has traveled both along the wall as well as how far up and down the roller has gone, so it can ensure it has painted every part of the wall.
