Pac-Man Pizza
About once a week my mom entrusts me with the task of preparing the evening repast (tea, dinner, supper, etc. etc.). I usually. . . okay sometimes, keep it normal. But I like to mix it up from time to time.
One night I had chosen to make pizza and I had the dough all prepared but wasn't sure how to 'decorate' it. Usually I just throw stuff on, but something possessed me and I made a Pac-Man game on the pizza. (No, you couldn't play it, unfortunately)
So how did I do it?
I started with pizza dough spread out on a rectangular cookie sheet with about 1 inch sides.
I added the tomato paste/sauce and made a Pac-man outiline head using pinapple, although you could also use olives or another topping altogether. I filled it in with corn, and mozarella. I then made him a path to follow using more pineapple. (Can you tell I like Pineapples on my pizza?) Then I created a ghost using capsicum. Unfortunately I had made Mr. Pac-Man a bit to large and it was disproportionate, and I only had green peppers on hand, but it still worked. I gave him and Pac-man eyes using meat. (Pac-Man's was a slice of pepperoni or hot-dog and the ghost's was bacon)
I used the remaining pepper to make a border around it, and then I covered it all, except Pac-Man and the ghost, in cheese. Cooked and done in about 30-45 minutes.
It should also have some coins, and extras, but due to my folly in supersizing Pac-Man I couldn't do that part.
Yes. It tasted good. No. You can't have any. I ate it.
Thanks for reading, let me know what you think, and send me photos of your retro pizzas.
