PVC Raffle Ticket Tumbler

PVC RAFFLE TICKET TUMBLER

Raffle is always the highlight of a party. If you can show your friends a your self-made raffle ticket tumbler, it will be very cool. This raffle ticket tumbler is made with PVC and a candy can. A candy can is easy to get in a party. One of the benefit is you can send the candy can to each participant to drop their tickets or votes which will increase participation. Of cause, after the game, it is also easier to dump tickets than ordinary ticket drum.

Materials

PVC fittings:

1/2" tee x 14

1/2" elbow x 10

1/2" cap x 1

3/4" tee x 5

3/4" elbow x 4

3/4" cross x 1

PVC pipes:

1/2" x 5 1/4" length x 1

1/2" x 3 1/2" length x 1

1/2" x 2 1/2" length x 1

1/2" x 2 3/8" length x 22

Grey 1/2" x 2 3/8" length x 2

1/2" x 1 3/4" length x 1

3/4" x 12" length x 2

3/4" x 4" length x 4

3/4" x 2 1/2" length x 4

And a candy can (2.5LB)

Make the Tumbling Cage

As showing in the pictures, use 1/2" fittings and all of 2 3/8" length pipes assemble one side square frame and then the other one, and connect them together with two tees which to both sides outward, the two tees will be connected to axles finally, the cage rotate with them.

Do not glue or screw that two grey pipes with their connecting fittings and keep them can be rotated to open the cage.

Make the Base

Use 3/4" fittings and pipes to make the base as per the pictures showed.

Assemble the Tumbler

Install axle for the cage using the 1/2" x 2 1/2" length pipe. Insert it to the tee of the base, then use the 1/2" x 5 1/4" pipe go through the cross of the base and connect to the cage then assemble the rotating handle with 1/2" elbows, 1/2" x 1 3/4" length pipe, 1/2" x 3 1/2" length pipe and 1/2" cap.

Open the cage on the grey pipe side, put the candy can into the cage and close the cage, rotate the tumbler slowly.
