POUCH Wheelchair Accessories_Molle System Sides

I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user, I use the Karma-ERGO LITE Ultra-Lightweight Folding Transport Wheelchair and realized that I needed more places to put my belongings and shopping. The solution is POUCH Wheelchair Accessories that improve the user experience, sustainable, shared, modular and accessible. These instructions show you how to make the Molle system and have links to the Molle and shopping bags.

• Lighter or candle/matches 
• Recycled fabric of your choice
• 25mm Webbing (I used approximately 8m for everything) I reused some webbing from backpacks/bags and also bought some black webbing from Bunnings https://www.bunnings.com.au/grunt-25mm-x-10m-black-poly-webbing_p4310851 

Tools

• Pins 
• Ruler
• Pens/Pencils
• Fabric and paper scissors
• Iron 
• Needle and thread

You can use them to attach to the Karma wheelchair system bellow or just make a sustainable Molle bag

This is a Molle system designed for the Karma-ERGO LITE Ultra-Lightweight Folding Transport Wheelchair

POUCH side Molle system (designed for karma wheelchair)

• All Materials and tools from the supplies list above
• Templates: side fabric templates, Webbing template and pocket template (optional)
• Thrifted pair of pants (you can use any material you want)
• Recycled bag (optional if you want to add a pocket)
• Velcro approximately 50cm
• Use approximately 80cm of 25mm Webbing

Print templates to use. In the photos I showed making the right side Pouch Molle system using the right side template.

• Collected materials
• Used template to cut two layers of fabric, the bottom one with a 1.5cm seam allowance
• Pinned, ironed and sewed seam

Cut and sewed Velcro

Use the corresponding sides (left side or right side) template for the pocket.

• For the pocket I used the Pouch pocket template and a recycled shopping bag
• Ironed it with a piece of fabric on top to create creases
• Pinned and cut the fabric
• Sewed seams and Velcro
• Sewed the top and bottom of the POUCH Pocket to the Pouch Molle system part 

• Collect the materials for the webbing part
• Cut and heated the edges of the webbing
• Pinned the webbing using the webbing template as a guide
• Sewed webbing
• Finish sewing sides of pocket

My wheelchair has existing velcro that I used to attach the new Pouch Molle system sides.
