PI Themed French Chocolate Mousse-

This is a recipe that is really short and it only uses 2 ingredients, chocolate and eggs, and for the decoration, cacao powder and icing sugar. This recipe comes from my grandma and it was passed on for generations. This chocolate mousse has no sugar in it but it is still the best out there. (At least I think). Have a look!

Supplies

For this project you will need:

4 eggs

130+3.14 grams of chocolate

icing sugar

Cocoa powder

Oh, and you also need a microwave and a blender to make the fluffy egg white.

Separate the Yolk From the Egg White and Melt the Chocolate-

In this step, all you need to do is separate the egg yolk and be careful not to leave any yolk in the egg white as it will not get fluffy otherwise. For the chocolate, put it in a bowl in the microwave for 20 seconds increments until it is completely molten.

Mix the Egg Yolks and the Molten Chocolate-

You need to mix the egg yolks and molten chocolate first because you need to wait till it is to room temperature before mixing it with the egg whites. It is getting a good smell!

Blending the Egg White to Make Them Fluffy-

In this step, all there is to do is to blend all the egg whites together. This is not an easy step to achieve as it is the crucial step of this recipe. If you have a thermomix or any other blender that has 10 speeds, put your blender on speed 3-4 and wait 3-4 minutes. Be aware that it might need more or less than 3-4 minutes and refer to the picture above for the texture it should have. You can add a micro-pinch of salt to help it become more fluffy, But only a bit!

CAREFULLY Blend Together the Chocolate+yolk and the Fluffy Egg Whites-

In this step, you will have to carefully mix with a wooden spatula both mixtures we have made earlier. Take 1/3 of the fluffy egg whites and mix them with the chocolate without being careful just to give the chocolate a thinner consistency. With the rest, mix it with the chocolate very carefully and trying to pop as little bubbles as you can.

Pour the Mixture Carefully Into Small Bowls-

In this step, pour carefully the chocolate mousse into small bowls, keep in mind this recipe is enough for 4 people, as my grandma said, 1 egg per person. Match it to your need if necessary. Refrigerate for 2 hours before next step.

Cleanup Time!!!

This step is as important as the previous ones because you can't cook properly if your kitchen is dirty!

Cutting the Paper to Make Cool Designs on Our Mousse-

This and the following steps are optional because they are only for decoration. Follow my idea or just cut the paper according to your needs.

Put the Cocoa Powder and Icing Sugar-

After having waited 2 hours for the chocolate mousse to harden in the fridge, put some icing sugar on top of the mousse, place the paper on top, and pour some cocoa powder to make any cool designs! Have fun!
