This PC build is built in a cooler master PC case.

Supplies

For this PC build You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to install screws, Thermal Paste to glue the cpu to the CPU fan, an anti-static mat to protect the electronics in the PC from damage caused by electrostatic discharge, and lastly an anti-static wrist strap which also prevents electrostatic discharge in the PC.

Anti-Static Safety

The first Step is you are going to lay your anti static mat out, put the pc on top of the mat(only electronics need to be on it), and then your going to put the anti static wrist band on your wrist and plug the other end into the matt or clip it onto the case(it depends which kind you have either will work). Anyone touching electronics should be wearing a wrist band for safety. Once you have everything setup then your ready for the next step.

Installing Ram

Once you have put the motherboard on the anti-static mat, you can get your ram and put it into the ram slot. In order to do this, you need to have the correct ram for the motherboard, or the notch won't line up. If you have the correct ram open the holder (only one can open) carefully put the ram into the slot. Once you have put it in the correct way, put the bracket down to hold it in place.

Installing Solid State Drive

The next step is you are going to take the drive and put it into the slot carefully. Once you have put the drive into the slot, get your screwdriver and screw it into the slot. Make sure that it is meant for this motherboard, and it's facing the correct way.

Installing the CPU and the CPU Fan

The next step is you are going to install the CPU and the CPU fan. In order to do that, you need to lift the CPU socket up. Once it is open, you can carefully put your CPU into the socket. You need to look at the yellow arrow on the CPU and the arrow on the socket and line them up. once you know what direction to put the CPU in then you can put it in and close the socket. Once you put the CPU in, grab your thermal paste and put a pea sized drop on the CPU. Once the thermal paste is on there, then you can lightly push down your fan onto the CPU, making sure the cable is facing towards the fan spot. Once you put the fan on, you can twist the notches the direction the arrows tell you to.

Putting the Mother Board In

The next step is you are going to screw the motherboard into the case. In order to do this, you need to line the motherboard up with the case and the standoff holes. Once you have done this grab your Phillips head screwdriver and screw all of the screws back into the standoff holes in the motherboard. When doing this, make sure everything's lines up, or it won't screw in correctly.

Installing the Power Supply

The next step is you are going to put in the power supply. In order to do this the first thing, you need to is put the cables in through the case and in the correct way. Once this is done you need to take the power supply and put it into the spot for the power supply, making sure that the cables have access to the motherboard. Once you have put the power supply in, then you can screw your power supply into the case. Once the power supply's screw in, you can plug the necessary cables into the motherboard.

Plugging the Power Supply Into the Motherboard

IMG_1437.jpeg

Once You have installed the power supply and the motherboard you are ready to plug the power supply into the motherboard. In order to do this, you need to plug the necessary ones for your specific motherboard in. Some main ones are the 32-pin connector, the smaller ones for the on button and leds and etc, and the 4-8 pin connector

Installing the Case Fan

The next step is installing the case fan. You can grab your fan, and you can line it up with the spot where it goes in the case. You want to make sure that it is blowing air out of the case, to prevent overheating. Once you have put it where it goes, you can screw the fan into the case with your screwdriver. Once you have done this you can plug the fan into the correct spot in the motherboard. It should be labeled and easy to find.

Putting Front Panel On

IMG_1452.jpeg

The next step is to put the front panel on. This step is really simple. All you need to do is take your screws and screw the screws back into the glass and into the PC to keep the inside of your PC covered from dust and other things.

Plugging It In

The final step of the build is plugging it in. In order to do this you need to make sure that you have a compatible chord for your pc to connect to the monitor and a chord to plug the pc into the wall. If you have both of these cords (in this build the chord is a VGA chord), then you can plug the pc Into the monitor with the VGA chord and take the power cord and plug it into the wall. Try to keep your PC off of carpet because this is bad for your PC. Once your PC is plugged into the monitor and the wall test if it works. Also make sure that your power supply is turned on.
