Over-bed Photo Collage With LED Features

For my birthday I received small vintage rock posters and I wanted to hang them on my wall but I thought it would damage the wall if I put them directly on it so I thought of using a corkboard and adding LED features to it so it could be the focal point of my room.

Supplies

- Corkboard
- Small Posters or Photos
- LED Sign Making Kit
- 6 ft. LED Strip (Sound-activated is optional)
- Double Sided Tape
If you have no LED Sign Making Kit:
- Metal wire
- Neon wire
- Zip ties
- Double A Batteries
- Battery Pack
- Extra negative and positive wires

Attach your photos or small posters onto the corkboard with pins or tape. For the photos/posters at the sides, top and bottom, you can slide them under the corkboard frame and they will stay but you might want to use some pins or tape there just in case.

Now it's time to make the LED Sign. If you do not have an LED Making Kit you can buy metal wire, neon wire, zip ties, batteries, and a battery pack to make one just as good. You will first have to draw out your design on paper and afterwards form the metal wire above it; then you attach the neon wire with zip ties. Mine says "Music 🎵"

Find a spot on your collage where you would like to put your sign (middle, top, bottom, sides) I put mine at the top so the cord could reach the left side of the corkboard frame. Now use double sided tape to attach the battery pack to the corkboard frame. NOTE: make sure you place the battery pack in a place where you could reach it on the wall (trust me, I made this mistake and I'm extremely short). Below is an image of mine:

Now I suggest you add something to the college that makes it YOURS. I added a single drumstick at the top (because I couldn't find the other one) to finish off the whole rock vibe and to let people know that I'm a (beginner) drummer. Now you are done! Here is my finished product:
