Outside Wood Table
Hello everyone, today i just wanted to make an instructable on making a simple wooden table out of recycled wood or any wood you have at home. A table like this is a outside use only. I was lucky enough to have pressure treated wood that i can recycled. This project did not cost no money whats so ever and what i could've do differently is the environment i was in, (no proper platform to build, dont have extended cable for the sander)
The dimension for the table is 24''x24''x24'' so it's pretty simplified
Supplies
Tools
- Table Saw
- Miter Saw https://www.harborfreight.com/10-in-single-bevel-compound-miter-saw-56776.html?cid=paid_google|||56776&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=&utm_content=&gclid=CjwKCAiAi_D_BRApEiwASslbJ_TNKmLUnlLSWWbVLxY988eCw1wJyMhaNcHFqXD6C1Gr2uQcuoAIqxoCTsIQAvD_BwE
- Drill
Materials
- Wood (I used recycled wood)
- Screws
Top & Legs
Get 24'' wood and drill it in to make a square, this will be the top of your table.
Drill the legs on.
The runners will be in the inside, this will also reinforce the table as it is balanced.
Making the Runners/ Slats
For the slatts, the dimension are 1 1/2'' x 1.75'' i used a table saw to cut them.
I started by spacing the slats on the runners with an extra one, so all of them would be equally spacing. Drilling screws while taking out the extra piece of slat worked out for me
Drilling the Top & Conclusion
For the top i just got planks and drilled them in. I feel like if i had more time to actually work on it, it would turn out really good. I enjoyed what i made and would make changes if the next time i make another table.
