Otto Robot

This is your step by step on how to build an otto robot

Supplies

  • 1 x Nano ATmega328
  • 1 x Nano I/O shield
  • 1 x USB-A to Mini-USB Cable
  • 1 x Ultrasound sensor HC-SR04
  • 4 x Micro servo SG90 9g
  • 1 x Buzzer
  • 6 x Female/Female Dupont Wires
  • 1 x Double a battery holder
  • 2 x Double a Batteries
  • 1 x Toggle Switch
  • Extra screws
  • 1 x Otto Head
  • 1 x Otto Body
  • 2 x Legs
  • 1 x Foot Left
  • 1 x Foot Right


Get the Motors in the Base

Step one Get the base of the robot and put the motors into the base

Attaching the Legs

Step two once you attach the motors to the base of the robot attach the legs to the pegs on the base of the robot motors.

Attaching the Feet

attach the feet to the legs with the other two motors in the feet.

Attaching the Mega Board

Step 4 attach the audrino mega board to the head and screw it in.

Putting in the Eyes

 put the speakers attachment through the eye holes and attach the wires back to the main board. 



Coding the Nano Board the Nano Board.

Step six attach the nano board to the computer using the usb wire and program it to make the otto robot walk.

Step seven attach nano board to the audrino megaboard

Step 8 attach battery and button to the board and robot the button will poke out through the belly button hole

Step nine put the rest of the robot together and press the button and watch it go.
