I had always made paper creations when I was younger, so today you will learn to make a cute little bird out of paper. Its easy to make, makes great little gifts to receive,It is a nice decoration, and can light up a small space. The main goals for this project is

• To have the bird easy to make

•To have it resemble a bird

•To brag to all of your friends what you can do because I know what your planning

Supplies

Lay Origami Paper in Front of You

Do I really need to explain more? Lay the paper flat on the table.

Fold Your Paper Diagonally in Half

flat 3.jpg

Fold the paper into triangle shape,in half, make sure it is even and the corners meet.

Fold in Half Again

flat 4.jpg
flat 3.5.jpg

Fold your triangle in half temporarily only to crease it, then unfold, you should now have a triangle with a crease in the middle.

The Wings 1

flat 5.jpg

This part is slightly hard, however when you fold the side of the triangle you can use the crease you made as a guide. The upper part of this fold should barely be covering the top. This will be one of the wings. make sure that as you go the wing gets bigger and not smaller. The lower part of your wing should not be touching the middle crease.

The Wings 2

flat 6.jpg

Do the same with the other part of the triangle try and make it semi even.

Adjust Accordingly

flat 7.jpg

To make sure the wings are even use the crease and fold along it. If the sides match up then they are even. If they don't then unfold and adjust the wings as much as you please.

Make the Neck

flat 8.jpg
flat 9.jpg

Fold the upper part of the triangle. The top should be slightly over the edge.

Make the Beak

flat 10.jpg

You can get quite a bit of freedom here. Take the top part of the triangle again and fold away from you. You can pretty much make the beak whatever size you want. It just mean your beak will be bigger or smaller compared to the bird.

Fold in Half Once More

Use the previous crease again and fold in half.
