Origami Lily Flower

Need: a square piece of paper.

scissors to cut the paper square

fold the square in half towards you. then fold it to the side to make a smaller square

open it back up to make a rectangle. fold the upper right hand corner down to the end of the mid line. flip the full paper over then repeat.

Hold the paper so you're looking at the open end side of the triangle. Open the bottom of the triangle and then push down to form a diamond.

Lift one of the flaps of the diamond and push down to form a kite shape. then repeat it on all the flaps

Take the bottom corner and fold into the center. Repeat on the other side then repeat on all the other flaps

Open the last two folds into the center on each flap. Lift the center forming a small triangle and push that down. Then repeat that for each flap

flip one flap over so you only see a smooth surface flap. Then rotate the base so that the point of the hidden triangle is facing away from you

Take the bottom corner and fold into the center, repeat other side. Repeat on other smooth diamond flaps.

Take the top of the flower and fold down the flap. Then repeat it for each of the flaps. Finally curl the petal over with your finger

your flower is officially complete.
