Origami Hovercraft for Beginners

Hi my name is joshua and I am entering this contest because Origami is my favorait hobby in this Instructable I am going to teach you to make 5 easy origami models which are fun to play with. My first model is an origami hovercraft.

You will need square sheets of origami paper. A desk to fold on.

Turn the paper over and repeat the preveous step on the same side which you had folded in the previous step.

With the white side up fold the square sheet in half.

Then fold the corner on the left side so that the edge sits along the ridge we folded in the previous step.

Turn over the model . Tour midel should now look like this. Then do as the images show. You must reverse fold the fold you made in the previous step. Now you must open up the model and fold the bare edge of the flap you reverse folded in the previous step to the edge of the fold you created in the first step . This acts as the locking mechanism of the model.

Now create a pinch crease on the right hand side of your model the process is like this

Your origami hovercraft is finished. Now place the hovercraft on a smooth flat surface like this and blow gently into the cavity in the back of your origami hovercraft.
