Origami Hearts

This is a quick an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make a simple origami heart.

Simply turn over your origami paper and fold it in half.

Then fold the paper one more time to the middle.

Then fold the paper over one more time so the corner meets the other side.

Then take the two sides and fold them into the middle.

Turn the paper around to the back side and then create two new folds from both the left and ride side corners.

Then fold in the triangles seen at the top to create a flat hexagonal shape.

And then lastly turn it back again to the front and there you have it, a beautiful heart!

If you do not have origami paper, there are simply two steps that need to be taken at the beginning to get the A4 paper into a square shape. The only supplies needed other than an A4 paper is scissors.

take the bottom left corner of the paper and fold it inwards so that the bottom of the paper aligns with the right side to from an acute triangle.

Lastly cut off the excess rectangle of paper, so that you are left with an acute triangle which when unfolded creates a square.

With an A4 paper you can create the same heart, just in a larger such as the one displayed above!

Finally, have some fun with the hearts. Give it to a friend or family member, or paste it onto your wall!
