Organizing Books, Photos, and Sewing Stuff
I bought the book "The Organized and Inspired Scrapbooker" by Wendy Smedley & Aby Garvey as an attempt to become more organized. It kind of worked. I started by organizing my family's books and misc. paperwork items. Then I moved on to the photo organizing.
I had many junk items I collected that are "memorable" to me, ie: Gift cards, clothing tags, receipts, that were cluttering up my drawers, so I decided to explore with different ways I could organize them. I started by making a small scrapbook page of the things I wanted to keep at a specific area (in this case, Disneyland). I then took an old corkboard from out of the garage and put pictures and other miscellaneous things on it using pushpins.
The last thing I will mention that I organized was my sewing accessories. I took some old tins and buckets, and filled them up with sewing patterns and sewing accessories (scissors, rotary cutter, pens, fabric pens, etc.)
And that concludes my attempt to being organized.
