I chose to re-design my closet because right now it is very dysfunctional and not all of the space is utilized.

This is a picture of what the space looks like now. There is no designated space for storage and everything is disorganized.

Start Designs

I started by designing the new space with a goal of increased hanger space and purposeful shelving. I also wanted a spot to put all of my shoes.

Building the Space

By building the space in Revit, I was able to properly plan what needed to go where.

Starting to Build

My next step was to place shelves in my built space. The bottom shelves are for my shoes and the top helf is for miscellaneous storage, like for blankets and boxes.

Next, I placed some bigger shelves for sweaters and extra things. I also placed rods for hangers.

Finally, I added some hangers for decoration and so the space can be fully visualized.

Before/after

This is the before and after of my design. Before, the space was unorganized and messy. Now, there is designated space for shoes, extra hanger space and new shelves.
