I made organic chocolate fudge cake donuts with an organic chocolate glaze. I wanted to make this because it is one of my favorite recipes to bake in the kitchen. It is fun and easy to make, and they taste delicious.

Supplies

For cake donuts:

1/2 cup organic cocoa powder

3/4 cup organic brown sugar

1 1/3 cup organic all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. organic baking powder

1/2 tsp. organic baking soda

1/2 tsp. organic salt

1/3 cup organic chocolate chips

2 large organic eggs

1/3 cup organic milk

1 tsp. organic pure vanilla extract

1/2 cup organic unsalted butter (melted)

For glaze:

1 1/4 cup organic powdered sugar

4 tbsp. organic cocoa powder

1/8 tsp. organic salt

2 tbsp. organic milk

Lightly grease the donut pans and divide the batter. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Once the donuts are cooled, take a knife or spatula to loosen the sides. Gently turn the pans over and tap lightly, they should come right out. (If they don't, then loosen them a little more, being careful not to break them.)

Glaze

In a medium bowl, sift together the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the milk, and mix in the vanilla extract. If the glaze is too think, add a little milk to thin it out.

Decorating

Gently dip the donuts halfway into the glaze. If you'd like, add sprinkles or shave some chocolate on top. Let them sit for about 5-10 minutes and then serve. Enjoy!
