Oreo Meringue Cookies

One day I craved ice-cream with Oreo sprinkle and I though if there is Oreo ice-cream, Oreo biscults, Oreo cake why isn't there Oreo Meringues, so I found a standard meringue recipe and put my own special twist. I shared the result to my family who were surprised by the combo.. but said it was very nice. Later I was on this very web site's homepage, as I scrolled down I noticed list of the contests and I thought why not enter in my Oreo recipe. so here it is.

Ingredience

Equipment:

Mix Master
tray
baking paper
cooking oil spray
spoons

Ingredients

4 egg whites

Making the Meringues

Method:

1. set oven to 120 Degrees Celsius on bottom element (if you have elements on your oven).

2. Pour the egg whites into the mix master add salt and turn on high till eggs form stiff peaks.

3. Add the caster sugar, a little at a time, and leave mix master on until all the sugar has been mixed in. to check it is mixed in get a bit of mixture and grind between your fingers if you fill some grains keep mixing if not it's done.

4. Add on packet of Oreo sprinkles to the mixture and mix till combined.

5. place a Marie biscuit on a tray and get a spoonful of the mixture and place on top. Repeat until tray is full. place tray in the oven to cook for about 1hr and a half. When ready turn oven off and leave to cool for about 20-30 mins. This recipe takes 10-20 mins and cooks from 12-24 depending on the size.
