Place 16 whole Oreos (cookie and filling) in a zip lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. It's a fun way to take out any frustrations you may have :-) Crush them to about 1/4" - 1/2" in size.

The Pudding Layer - Simmer

Because I am inpatient, I placed my pudding in a glass bowl and covered it with plastic wrap then set it in the freezer to cool. This is an optional step! You can, of course just set it aside to let it cool on it's own at room temperature. I was in a pinch and it helped out...just don't forget it in the freezer!

The Bottom Layer - Melt Butter

For the bottom layer, begin by melting butter over medium heat in a small saucepan.

The Bottom Layer - Crush Oreos

Crush 32 whole Oreos and place crushed Oreos in a large bowl.

The Bottom Layer - Combine

Add melted butter to the crushed Oreo cookies. Mix until combined. Set aside and allow to cool.

The Top Layer - Simmer

In a small saucepan heat whipped cream until it comes to a simmer. I used the same bowl which I had melted the butter in because "butter makes everything better." You do not have to use the same bowl though.

The Top Layer - Make Ganache

Add chocolate chips to a bowl and pour over the warm whipped cream. Allow to chocolate chips to melt completely. Whisk mixture until everything is combined.

The Top Layer - Cooling

This is an optional step, I placed my ganache in a separate glass bowl and covered it with plastic wrap then set it inside the fridge to cool, just don't forget about it! You can always just allow it to cool at room temperature :-)
