Orange Pineapple Mock Hot Toddie

Baby it's cold outside!!!! After a long day at work or school on a blustery wintry day, who wouldn't love a comforting fruity hot cup of deliciousness? Here I give you my "Orange Pineapple Mock Hot Toddie". It is so soothing and very tasty. Here is how to make it!

Ingredients

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup water

1 standard orange pekoe tea bag

1 navel orange

about 1 teaspoon honey

Supplies

coffee mug

teaspoon

small plate

sharp knife

serving cup

Pour 1/2 cup pineapple juice into a mug.

Fill the mug with water.

Place the mug in the microwave oven. Microwave at 100% power for 1 minute, or until very hot.

Add and dip in the tea bag. Leave in the mug until the desired amount of tea is in the water/pineapple juice.

Slice a 1/4-inch wheel from the center of the orange.

Squeeze a portion of the orange to express the juice into the mug.

Add about one teaspoon honey to the mug. Stir to blend.

Pour into a pretty glass or goblet if desired and add the orange wheel. Now sit back, relax and enjoy this wonderful hot mock toddie! It's very flavorful, warm and soothes the soul!!!!
