Orange Bird Feeder

Make an alluring orange bird feeder. Attract beautiful birds to your yard with this simple and practical bird feeder.

Materials

For this bird feeder you will need

-Spoon

-Knife

-Popcorn

-Peanut Butter

-Birdseed

-Bowl

-Measuring Cup (not shown)

-String or Pipe Cleaner

-Cutting board (optional)

Cut and Scoop

Cut the orange in half.

Take half the orange and eat or scoop out the insides.

Pop the Popcorn

Now is a god time to prepare the popcorn. Follow direction on packaging for popping. We had microwave popcorn so we tossed it into the microwave and hit popcorn. Easy.

Peanut Butter

Measure out 1/3 cup peanut butter and add to your mixing bowl.

Adding and Mixing

Add a cup of bird seed and a cup of popcorn to the peanut butter. Mix all the ingredients up thoroughly.

Cut a Hole

Cut a hole on one side of the orange.

Thread the pipe cleaner through.

Twist pipe cleaner into place (around the hole).

Cut Another Hole

Cut another hole on the opposite side of the orange directly across from the first whole.

Thread the pipe cleaner free end through hole and twist in place.

You should now have a basket like the one shown.

Scoop and Fill

Scoop up a nice amount of the bird feed popcorn mix.

Place inside the orange.

Hang and Enjoy

Hang the beautiful orange bird feeder on a sturdy branch.

Wait for some birds to notice the food.

It looks so good that we had to stop Aly Cat from eating it. True story and she's not a cat.
