Glitter is concentrated unicorn fart

It's also known as "the herpes of the arts and crafts world"

Let's reach out and touch a few friends!

Everything Laid Out

So how do you get your friends to open a glitter-bomb? My solution was to have it become something they were guaranteed to open. So that would either be a bill, or a letter form Apple Computers Headquarters. I made a point of researching to find the proper font and current logo.

Assembly

You want to make sure to fold the bottom flap first, as this will be what holds the glitter as they pull it out of the envelope.

Pick a Color and Fill

I did random colors for each friend. The key here is to have the letter about halfway in the envelope, so when you pour in the glitter it doesn't leak out the sides. It doesn't take a lot, just fill the bottom with an 1/8th of an inch.

Now, it would look silly to have something that was supposed to originate in California have postage stamped from another location. As so, I enlisted the help of a friend, even going so far as to create a glitter-bomb for both him and myself (two words: plausible deniability). Before sealing them in the next day envelope I wrapped them in plastic wrap so if it turned out to be a rough journey to Cali they wouldn't prematurely spill their precious card.

Letterbombs made it no problem to Cali. It was just a matter of putting them in the mailbox, raising the flag, and keeping an eye on my friends social media accounts. Hope they had as much fun opening them as I did creating them!
