One Pot Three-Bean Chili

This easy, delicious three-bean chili recipe is made in a slow cooker and yields 10 servings.

Supplies

Slow cooker

1 large onion

1 clove of garlic

30 oz canned black beans

30 oz canned kidney beans

30 oz canned pinto beans

30 oz canned diced tomatoes with chilies

15 oz canned tomato sauce

1 1/4 oz chili seasoning mix

14 oz frozen corn kernels

1 Tbsp lime juice

1/2 cup cilantro

Chop Onion

Mince Garlic

Rinse and Drain Black Beans, Add to Slow Cooker

Rinse and Drain Kidney Beans, Add to Slow Cooker

Rinse and Drain Pinto Beans, Add to Slow Cooker

Put the Following Additional Ingredients in Slow Cooker

Add onion, garlic, diced tomatoes with chilies, tomato sauce, and chili seasoning on top of beans already in slow cooker.

Stir to Thoroughly Combine Ingredients

Set Slow Cooker

Set to high heat for 3 hours (or low heat for 6 hours) and close cover to cook.

Add Frozen Corn During Last Hour of Cooking

Add corn during last hour of cooking (or last 2 hours if on low heat) and stir in.

Chop Cilantro and Set Aside

Chop cilantro during last hour of cooking (or last 2 hours if on low heat) and set aside.

Add Lime Juice and Cilantro Just Before Serving
