This is my one-pot chili. My staple meal while attending service school. I had tried some chili mixes and other online recipes then decided to create my own. Try it yourself as a starting place and then modify it to your own taste.

3-quart instant-pot
cutting board
sharp knife
measuring spoons
cooking spoon

1 large clove garlic (minced)
1 large sweet onion (chopped)

1 can 14.5 oz chili-beans in mild sauce

Prep and Cooking Instructions

1. Brown ground beef in the instant-pot on the sauté setting until no longer pink then drain the grease

2. Add chopped peppers and onion and minced garlic (If you chop and mince yourself, remember to remove those little vegetable labels. Finding one in a bowl of chile is annoying by yourself and embarrassing with friends)

3. Open and add canned tomatoes and chili-beans to instant-pot

4. Add Spices to instant-pot and stir thoroughly

5. Close instant-pot and set to slow cook for 4 hours
