Old Fashioned Paper Snack Bags

These little snack bags are so easy to make and are perfect to hold chips, popcorn, candy or even french fries. So perfect to make your 4th of July party even more special!

I found the original tutorial here but I used two sided kraft paper instead of just plain brown kraft paper.

Supplies

Double sided wrapping paper and printable sticker paper

Step 1 - Cut Out Square

Cut out a 10" square piece of Kraft brown paper or double sided wrapping paper which is what I used. I used pinking shears to give that wavy edge to all sides of the square.

Step 2- Creating Triangle Shape

Fold your 10" paper into a triangle by matching edges. I am not a perfectionist so mine are not totally perfect but they still turned out adorable!

Step 3- Folding One Side

Take the right side of the paper snack bag and fold it over the left side.

Step 4- Folding Second Side

Now you can fold the left side over to the right side of the bag.

You can see your little snack bag is starting to take shape!

Step 5- Create the Bag Opening

OK now fold one of the top pieces down in front. You will see that now there is an opening to place your snacks in.

I love that this wrapping paper is two sided. One side is brown and the other is bright red so it has contrast.

So perfect for the 4th of July!

Step 6- Add Sticker

Attach the sticker!

You can find these darling old fashioned printable tags on Lia Griffith’s site. Or create your own.

Enjoy Your Snack Bags
