Oil Lamp

Oil lamps come from the early 1800s. This project is a cool experiment.
Materials

- Vegetable oil
- Bottle
- Cotton string
- Bottle
- Cotton string
Filling the Bottle

Fill the bottle half way with your vegetable oil.
Adding String

Put a piece of string through the top of the bottle and let it soak. (Using cotton string works the best.)
Igniting

Now ignite the string and let it burn. (If you cant see in the picture, its burning but lightly)
