I made these because, even though I myself don't like Oatmeal cookies whenever my grandma makes these I do. So this is what she told me to do.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of softened Butter (1 stick and 6tbsp.)
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups of Oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of backing soda
  • 2 eggs

Butter and Sugars

The first thing you should do is pre-heat your oven to 350.

Take out a large bowl and hand mixer

Put in the stick and 6 tb of butter in to the bowl

Then add the 3/4 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Use hand mixer to blend it all together till you get a creamy consistancy

Oven Time

Time to get it ready to be put in the oven!

Get a cookie sheet and put aluminum foil over it. It shouldn't be greesed.

Then drop rounded dough balls using about a tablespoons amount onto the ungreesed sheets.

Bake them for about 8-10 minutes, till golden brown.

Your Done!

Now you just pull them out of the oven and let them cool fo 1 minute or 2. After they have cooled it's time to eat.
