ORIGAMI CAPTAIN AMERICA (with Video!)
A step by step tutorial on how to fold my newest origami, Captain America! Great for anyone, you don’t have to be an experienced folder to do this one. Also, I’m entering this in the 2020 Paper Contest, so don’t forget to vote! Thanks!
Supplies
Square blue origami paper (that all!)

This is my Youtube tutorial on how to fold the Captain America. I highly recommend it. But I also have a step by step photo diagram in the pages below. Please Subscribe to my Youtube channel!
Folding the Base
Start with the white side up. Make some valley folds diagonally. Then fold the sides to the middle crease. Do this for the top to. Now fold the top point to the very middle of the paper and make a “mark” fold. After that, fold the bottom up to the mark fold and unfold. Now bring the top point down until it is flush with the two outer folds. Now using some of the creases we made, fold the paper into a fish base. Turn the model over.
Making the Mouth
Fold the bottom point using an earlier crease. Then fold it down parallel to the very middle crease. Unfold and turn the model over. Now fold the bottom point up using a crease as shown. Then fold it down so a crease lines up with the bottom of the model. Now open the paper up and squash it flat (see photo for details). Bring the point down as shown in the photo.
Folding the Eyes
Valley fold the points to the sides as shown. Then fold them back over as shown, and squash fold them on the creases made. Valley fold the eyes up as far as they will go. Finish them by making some mountain folds to shape the eyes to your liking.
Making the Wings
Make a squash fold as shown in the first photo. Then fold the corner over to a crease. Now squash fold it. Finally, shape it as shown and repeat those steps on the other side.
Folding the “A”
Bring the point up until you see white behind it. Now shape the sides in and mountain fold it back to finish the “A”.
Final Shaping
Mountain fold the model as shown to do the final shaping.
Finished!
