'OL' Icky-Bob'~HOMEMADE HEADLESS BODY (That Won't SLASH Your Funds)

"The Legend of Icky Bob"

OL' Icky-Bob lost his head ... -WELL AT LEAST he isn't DEAD!

He arose from the depths with a swift, GRAVE KICK ... -NOT to be late for your Treat... or Trick!

Just a dust of' his digs -that still fit just right ... -He wouldn't dare miss his favorite night!

Flies & such munch & chew ... -As he sits and watches... WAITING for you

All Hollow's Eve -he'll be here... -And he might just stay...until next year!

(..seriously, you can store him - you'll prob just have to replace his neck..;)

This is REAL FUN and REAL AFFORDABLE, quite possibly totally free;

(Basically, you're stuffing clothes, making a man & playing with fake blood)

'Just takes some old clothes & items you probably have around the house.

Any ripped or stained -or "dirty job" clothes is ideal.

*Especially a flannel - if you can part with one 🎃 But, you can also wash & reuse

Get out the Rag Bag! -THIS PROJECT MAKES GREAT USE OF THAT STUFF!

..Why Should the Haunted Houses & Theme Parks Have All the Fun

Step 1 The Making of Icky Bob:

• Determine & assemble the basic clothing and accessory items you're using

  1. Pants
  2. Shirt
  3. Head / Neck (painting severed head or using a sack/hat, etc?)
  4. Shoes
  5. Optional Belt
  6. Optional Blood and Goo
  7. Stuffing items (e.g. more old clothes, pillows, foam, cotton, PT,TProlls, pipes, coff.cans)

Step 1B: Determine Your Blood (& goo method(s) and Make the Neck

• *Using an actual roll of toilet paper as a neck / SEVERED HEAD), mix & apply (Paint) the "Blood goo" ON ONE END OF THE TP (now, so it has time to dry). Then you can finish and add other ghoulish" touches later..*OR, you can do it all later.

..'gives a new meaning to "stuffed shirt" ~ well, kinda'

** 💡You can Wrap sweaters/shirts/socks- **your STUFFING ITEMS** around cardboard Paper Towel and Toilet Paper tubes for " Limb Connectors" **

• PANTS: Stuff the legs with other clothes, rags, etc.*Wrap a sweater/shirt around a cardboard paper towel tube for the bottom leg / femur; 💡leave about a quarter to half of the tube sticking out of the pant(s) leg(s) to "set" the Shoe(s) (~the bottom of the pant leg will cover)

• BELT (Optional) Wrap/insert the Belt thru the belt loops, if applicable

• SHIRT: Stuff the shirt, I used a pillow for the torso and rolled up shirt/sweaters for the arms

**💡 Wrap a sweater/shirt around a cardboard paper towel tube for the arm; leave about a quarter to half of the tube sticking out (for the Glove / the bottom of the sleeve will cover)

(*💡if you want to get fancy-dancy-elaborate, you can "link" the upper & fore arm with tubes -squish end of one tube & slide into other)

• GLOVES: *if the gloves are flat, STUFF them / stuff the fingers with cotton/tissue (or use your imagination;) -for Hands

**💡Insert the sleeve tube into the glove opening to "link" it to the arm tube

**we only found one glove, you can do a "severed hand" ;D**

• SHOES: Stuffing the shoe is all optional; for the most part, they can just sit on their own, under the pants leg, but you can -💡Roll up a sock or something (-around a TP tube or not-) stuff it in the shoe, to "link" or hook to the leg

MONSTER MASH (ASSEMBLING)

Ok Dr. Frankensteins, put him together!

  1. Easiest -a chair on the porch- where he'll stay, piece him together there

1st: LEGS: Sit the stuffed PANTS in the chair

2nd: TORSO: Tuck the Stuffed SHIRT into the pants

3rd: HANDS: "Hook" the GLOVES into the shirt sleeves

4th: FEET: Place the SHOES (on the ground, under the pant legs)

THE "NECK STEP"

20240929_184747.jpg

💀THE Neck / Severed-Head (Blood, Goo and Options):

Whether you made (i.e."gooed-up") the neck already or not, INSTALL it now:

• Place the Toilet Paper Roll "NECK" into the SHIRT COLLAR

• Again, make sure it's a shirt you don't mind "gunking-up" or staining ~just in case..

• Be sure not to show any "white paper"...

• Tuck it in the shirt far enough to not show white; button it up ...*or*

• 💡Wrap an OPTIONAL WOOL SCARF

💀Now, if you haven't already, PAINT the NECK (with your "Blood" (paint) of choice)

*Or*

•💡Use a Sack or Mask (* you can still use a roll of TP; cover it w/ the mask or sack, secure it w/ pins **OH WOW, SPEAKING OF FRANKENSTEIN, USE "BOLTS"...💡JUST THOUGHT OF THAT!💡!

*â–¶This is also where you can add / touch-up:

  1. More Blood
  2. More Goo
  3. More GORE, Bugs, Insects of YOUR LIKING

MISC AND FINAL PLANS

20240929_184629~2BWbob.jpg

Other Fun 💡Options

â–¶ a roll of TP or PT, covered with a Burlap ("hanged-man") Head Sack; face drawn on

â–¶ strap on a mask / hat

â–¶ Wrap a white scarf around (the pt head) & dark sunglasses -for the "Invisible Man" look

â–¶ As eluded to above, paint a can or something GREEN & attach some screws/bolts for a Frankendude!

â–¶ Splatter "blood" on the clothes & elsewhere

â–¶ CAUTION, of course, if you used "edible goo" you'll get REAL creepy-crawlies buzzn' about

â–¶ Use Axe, Hatchet "Tools" for props

â–¶ LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, A JACK-O' LANTERN - CAUTION, of course, if using REAL CANDLES

*Great for your "Haunted House"

He sits with it while he's off his feet! You'll have so much fun you'll want to give 'em a side kick!

That's where my jack-o'lantern comes in, I'll be sure to pick out a plump round one ~I love a "Plumpkin"

 Scare Ya Later!
